A very exciting news was shared this weekend at the NYU Entrepreneurship Festival:
“Thanks to a very generous gift from NYU entrepreneur and alumnus Mark Leslie and his wife Debra, construction has begun on a new home for NYU entrepreneurs: the Mark and Debra Leslie Entrepreneurs Lab, or more simply put the Leslie eLab!
The Leslie eLab will provide nearly 6,000 square feet of space in the heart of NYU’s Washington Square campus (in the former home of the Computer Store) where aspiring NYU entrepreneurs from across the university can meet to connect, collaborate, and tap into a vast array of resources to help develop their ideas and inventions into startup companies.”
This is great news and to us it belongs to the same spirit as the Greenhouse, as if we were the grandparents of the eLab :-) (Tanuki definitely could! :-) ) and hopefully this might also inspire next steps for the Greenhouse.
We’re looking forward to collaborating with the eLab as we’ve started collaborating with the Prototyping Fund (remember the deadline is tomorrow!)
